Off-Centre Stages is a new theatre group in New Jersey. “Off-Centre” represents our belief that it’s time to revisit the drawing board and rethink what traditional theatre is and can be. Since 2021, we have accomplished our goals of presenting two cabaret events and raising then necessary funds to establish non-profit organization status. We are now actively fundraising and hosting special events to to continue realizing our goal of bringing innovative, immersive, and experimental theatre to the area, with two shows coming this winter to the Kelsey Theatre.
Who we are!
Our founders have all experienced theatre in different ways and in different locations. During a recent project, they discovered that they shared a common desire for a theatre that was inclusive, fun, and a little "Off-Centre" from the norm. They figured, if they can't find it, they can create it... and here we are!
